Year 1A
Im still teaching the pupils mircosoft paint application. im given them task to draw any pictures using basic shape and fill in colour of the the pictures using tool available in the paint program. eg ice cream picture.

kindergarden (PRA A)

For the kindergarden kid, im recaping the basic part of the computer using mircosoft powerpoint application. Basic part such as monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. For the activity, im using hot potatoes activity such as quiz, matching, etc to test their understanding through IWB. (group activity)

WEEK 14

YEAR 1A

For this week, im teaching the pupils with the introduction to mircosoft word. Teacher demonstrate how to launch and close the application and introduce tool available inside such as bold, font name and size, etc. For the activity, im instructed the pupils to type their name and class and asked them to bold their name.

kindergarden (PRA A)

This week, im introduce them to mircosoft paint. Teacher demonstrate to the pupils to write alphabet ABC using pen or brush in paint tool box. Pupil are instructed to divided themselves into 2 group and asked to come infront to IWB to participate the activity.

For week 9 , im teaching the pupils how to take care of a computer. For the lesson, im introducing the proper rules and procedure for use of computer and equipmnet.

For week 11, im teaching the pupils how to handle and explore educational cd.Teacher will introduce and demonstrate the proper way in handling CD rom into the computer and introduce educational cd.

For week 12, teacher introduce the Microsoft paint. Teacher demonstrate how to launch and close paint application and an activity on paint like draw basic shapes.

Topic: Operating a Computer

Sub-topic: Switch on and off the computer

Year 1

Teacher introduce the lesson to the pupil on how to operate the computer by switching on and off the computer. Teacher recall previous lesson on basic parts of the computer such as system unit, mouse and monitor. Teacher demonstrate the proper operational procedure on how to switch on and off the computer. Start from the system unit where the switch on button is located and showing them switch on button for the monitor.

Teacher show how to switch off the computer after window interface appear.

Teacher asked them to switch on and off the computer in pairs as a practise.

Topic: Knowing basic parts of computer and it’s function

Sub topic:Mouse

Year 1

Teacher explain and show the real mouse to the pupil and explain its funtion. Teacher explain mouse act as a pointer. Teacher show the pupil where are the right click and left click and double click.Teacher asked them to open MS word to practise in demonstation skill in using mouse and type in the word 'Mouse' and it funtion as their work fof demonstation skill in keyboard too.

-Pupils are able to identify the name of the keyboard and mouse.
-most people are able to identify the function of the keyboard and mouse. For the keyboard, they said it use for typing in alphabet and number whereas for the mouse, they said it used as the pointer. Some pupil are able to type in alphabet using keyboard but in slow way and some are able to do faster. For the demonstration of skill using mouse, they have problem in distinguishing the left click with right click and also have trouble in double clicking when opening the document.
